Occasionally, during our 52-step testing and repair process, experts run into a part that's just not up to scratch. Usually, it's the camera or battery.

We responsibly recycle the original part and replace it with a brand new one, so you always get the performance you expect from a refurbished phone.

You may see these messages and warnings if you bought an iPhone XR, XS, or newer. Only Apple Authorized Service Providers and Apple Genius Bars can replace components without these messages.

It doesn't affect the handset's functionality. Only uses parts that have been approved after strict quality testing, and they work just as well as Apple original parts. It doesn't mean the handset is defective - but it does mean you can't check the battery capacity if it's not working.
